Norrbotten Air Force Wing F 21 is looking for a professional officer for the R3 Company

F 21 is Sweden's northernmost air force wing with air bases in Luleå, Vidsel, and Jokkmokk. F 21's mission is to deliver air operational effect through our combat aircraft divisions. F 21 has one of the world's largest air exercise areas.

Applicant Unit

The R3 Company is under the Base Battalion at F 21. The company is responsible for airport operations at F 21's air bases in Luleå, Vidsel, and Jokkmokk during peace, crisis, and war, as well as conducting conscription training.

The position of deputy company commander is part of the company management, which is based at Kallax, and includes officers, specialist officers, civilians, soldiers, and conscripts.

The company's operations primarily involve the management of F 21's airports, including rescue and field maintenance services, but training of conscripts and soldiers is also a central part of the operations.

Main Responsibilities

In your role at the company, you will work closely with the company commander and form a company management team that, together with other staff members, will solve the company's tasks.

• Support the company commander in leading the company's tasks
• Participate in planning and management of the combat unit
• Personnel matters such as work schedule planning, training plans
• Participate in the systematic work environment efforts at the company
• Financial work such as budgeting, monitoring, and reporting
• Be responsible for necessary competence development
• Support the company's training including conscription training
• Plan and conduct exercise activities
• Participate in activities ordered by the wing regarding readiness and exercises.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Completed conscription, GMU, or GU with a passing grade.
• Completed OP/SOU with a passing result.
• OF1-2 / SO7

Personal Characteristics

Good collaboration skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team. Have a high security awareness with initiative and be open to new tasks in daily work.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

• Previous experience in a leadership position within the Armed Forces
• Instructor competencies within the R3's area of work

Other

Employment form: Permanent employment. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not employed by the authority.

Employment rate: Full-time

Work location: Luleå, travel in service may occur.
